It's almost the middle of the year, time flies!

What does summer mean to me?
It's always summer in Singapore (which i love!), and for makeup, it's always exciting to see what brands are offering for summer as they usually create a perfect and comfortable look to wear here all year.
Also, in July I'll be taking a vacation to my favourite (all year summertime) location, Bali :)

So if you would like to book me for your upcoming photoshoots, events or wedding day, do so in advance to avoid any disappointment :)

I am really honoured to be included in the Up-and-Coming Makeup Artists Beauty Feature of Female Brides Fall 2009 Issue, alongside makeup pros such as Keith Bryant, Larry Yeo, Ginger, and John Lee.

Allyson did such a lovely writeup about me, she says " A model for six years, Joanna has worked with some of the best makeup maestros in the industry. Now in her mid-20s, the self-taught makeup artist picked up her skills by watching the pros. With four years of experience, she excels at creating a dewy complexion and enhancing facial features without the overly made-up effect. Hi Everyone,
I've been so busy over the last one year that I haven't updated this news section at all

It has been a good year so far (and no time for me to travel to Bali :(   - yet ), with quite a number of highlights like Revolution Covers internationally, Levi's print ads in asia, a cover for Galeria in Germany which shot in Thailand with renowned photographer Michel Perez ,  and many others.

I'm so thankful that despite the recession, things have been pretty smooth. Thank you - all of you - photographers, stylists, producers, and all my clients, for believing in me :) I couldn't have done all this work without you.

And also to the makeup artists who have graciously helped me along the way, Andrea Claire & Peter Khor - Thank you! :D
